BROEN A/S
THE COMPANY
BROEN A/S is an international market leader in valve technology, with over 75 years of experience in development and production from its facility in Assens, Funen. Today, the company is owned by AALBERTS and employs approximately 120 people in Denmark.
Currently, the company operates 10 washing systems from Anmasi in its valve machining and assembly department. The valves produced in this department are primarily made of stainless and carbon steel. BROEN A/S began collaborating with Anmasi in 2016 when they sought a full-service provider to supply washing systems, chemicals, and ongoing maintenance and service.
This partnership was established because BROEN A/S needed a collaborator capable of handling more than just equipment supply, as their own service department was fully booked.
THE TASK
All components must be washed prior to welding and subsequent painting. If not thoroughly cleaned, it becomes impossible to weld or paint them.
Additionally, components undergo heat treatment after machining, and if oil is present during this process, it will burn into the pores, preventing proper surface treatment.
Even components that do not require welding or painting are washed, as they are assembled inside valves, which must be delivered to customers completely free from oil and coolant residues.
THE SOLUTION
Since 2016, BROEN A/S has addressed its cleaning challenges in collaboration with ANMASI A/S. We have supplied all washing systems for the department along with all required consumables.
Moreover, BROEN A/S has had a full-service agreement with us for many years, under which we empty and clean their washing systems twice a month, refilling them with fresh solution so they are always ready for use.
This agreement gives Anmasi full responsibility for ensuring that all washing systems on the production lines operate optimally and meet the customer’s cleanliness requirements. The benefit of such an agreement is that Anmasi’s technical support and service team specializes in washing systems, ensuring prompt handling and resolution of any issues.
All BROEN A/S washing systems are inline units, meaning they are integrated into the individual production lines for machining or assembly. This avoids manual handling between machining centers and washing systems.
Today, BROEN’s entire Anmasi machine fleet consists of seven Beltline conveyor washers, a drum washer, and two large washing systems in the robotic cells for valve assembly.
