Formkon A/S needed to take their washing process to the next level in order to meet strict customer requirements for cleanliness and handle larger and more complex parts. In collaboration with ANMASI A/S , an advanced, fully automated washing system was developed that ensured high cleanliness, better drying, and a more stable process.
About Formkon
Formkon A/S is a specialized manufacturing company that develops and supplies prototypes to international customers, primarily in the automotive industry. The company works with aluminum and magnesium blanks and specializes in the production of prototypes and pilot runs using milling, plaster casting, and die casting.
Formkon has 56 employees, and about 80% of its revenue comes from exports, with Germany being its largest market.
Formkon's challenge
Formkon ANMASI contacted A/S in 2020 because they needed a new dishwashing solution. Their existing solution consisted of a small café dishwasher that could no longer meet the demands of production.
The company faced challenges related to both inadequate cleaning and insufficient drying of the workpieces. At the same time, many parts gradually became too large to be processed using the existing equipment. In addition, customers had documented cleanliness requirements, including ISO 16232 and VDA 19.1, which called for a much more controlled and advanced cleaning process.
The Solution
The solution was a fully automatic Rotoline washing system from ANMASI A/S, designed to ensure a high level of cleanliness even on complex parts.
In this fully automatic washing system, the items are rotated during washing—either in a basket or a special fixture—and cleaned through both spraying and immersion in the cleaning solution. Venturi nozzles create high turbulence, which enhances the cleaning effect. After washing, all items are rinsed with demineralized water to ensure optimal cleanliness, after which they are dried at temperatures above the boiling point to ensure they are completely dry.
ANMASI A/S was selected as a partner based on its expertise, turnkey solution, and high level of service. The partnership was further strengthened by a successful sales process in which the solutions were tailored to Formkon’s specific challenges.
