IMET Alloys Inc.
IMET Alloys Inc. is a leading player in the recycling of superalloys and titanium for the aerospace industry. The company faced a challenge with a maintenance-intensive evaporation plant that could no longer meet the requirements for operational reliability and efficiency. Consequently, the company sought a more modern evaporation solution capable of meeting the high standards of the aerospace industry.
About IMET Alloys
IMET Alloys Inc., was founded in 2011 and is a leading player in the recycling of superalloys and titanium for the aerospace industry. The company transforms industrial metal waste into fresh, furnace-ready raw materials for the aerospace, medical, and oil and gas industries.
For these processes, the company was using an existing evaporation system that had become very high-maintenance over time. As a result, they sought a more reliable and modern replacement.
IMET Alloys challenge
IMET Alloys were looking for a more efficient evaporation solution to replace their existing evaporation system, which required frequent maintenance.
The company wanted to select a technology that could meet its strict requirements for energy efficiency, cleaning frequency, capacity, and technical support.
To find the right technology and supplier, IMET hired an expert consultant, who invited the leading suppliers of wastewater treatment plants to present their solutions. Among the four suppliers that made presentations, Envotherm was selected as the company tasked with finding the best solution to the problem.

The Solution
ENVOTHERM supplied a " ET1250" system, which was further modified with additional equipment to meet IMET Alloys’s specifications.
One of the most important factors that made the decision easy for IMET Alloys was the 24-hour online service and support offered by ENVOTHERM. This has given the company the necessary peace of mind in its operations and ensured high uptime, low energy consumption, and minimal cleaning frequency.
With ENVOTHERM’s “ ET1250 ” solution, IMET Alloys has achieved a far more efficient and low-maintenance process, which has optimized its production of recycled superalloys and titanium for the aerospace industry.
